Black UU History Presentation

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Intern Minister Connie Simon will present a review of Black UU History for a second time.  Connie has studied Black UU history on her own and through her time in seminary, including taking Mark Morrison-Reed’s class: African Americans, Unitarians, Universalists and Unitarian Universalists. This is a very rich history, that you won’t have learned unless you have gone looking for it. And it is very important to understanding where our faith movement is now. Please join us.

If you would like a preview or are unable to join us, please read Mark Morrison-Reed’s article from October’s UU World: The black hole in the white UU psyche.
