Resources from the UU General Assembly

USG had 18 youth and adults attend the Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly in New Orleans in June 2017. Here are resources they collected.

2017’s GA voted on the 8th principle as a resolution to go into committee form.  The 8th principle was written by and presented by Paula Cole Jones and Bruce Pollock Johnson.  
 
UUA’s 8th Principle:  
Members and congregations of the UUA affirm and promote:  Journeying toward spiritual wholeness by building a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions that accountably dismantle racism and other oppressions in ourselves and our institutions.
 
 
There was a tremendous amount of conversation  about the Culture of White Supremacy.
