Carolyn Scott has been a member of USG since 2006 and has worked in many volunteer capacities including in the Welcoming Community, the Green Sanctuary Committee (helping Joe Walsh re-start the Northwest chapter of RecycleNOW), the MLK Day of Service (securing donated goods and services for projects), and as Host Coordinator when we host PIHN families at our church each summer.
Most recently, Carolyn has been serving as a volunteer Assistant to the Minister for Rev. Kent.
An English teacher by trade, Carolyn began tutoring shortly after her retirement from the Springfield Township (Montco) public school system. In addition to language-subject specific tutoring, Carolyn has long offered SAT preparation through her work at A Plus Test Prep & Tutoring in Jenkintown. She donates an SAT prep class as an auction item for USG each year.
Carolyn will bring a ton of skills and expertise to her work in the church office and we are thrilled to have her on staff at USG.
Carolyn works onsite in the church office approximately 12 – 15 hours a week.
