Social Justice for Children and Youth
On the 3rd Sunday of most months, the children and youth* engage in Social Justice projects related to the USG Social Justice focus of the month. These projects can include creating toiletry bags for homeless people, sorting school supplies, books and toys for a charitable donation drive, creating greeting cards for sick and homebound members of the congregation, learning about conserving natural habitats, and fundraising or letter writing to advocate for a social justice cause.
* (does not include Building Bridges, Neighboring Faiths, Our Whole Lives and Coming of Age, when these programs are being offered)
