We are all constantly in transition, that hopeful movement from one state to another.  Seasons change, we move into a new stage of life, we work for social justice or the preservation of our planet, we muddle into a new phase of Covid.  How can we  recognize and embrace the characteristics of transitions and use their energy to become the change we want to be, to create the change we want to see?

Debbie Ward is a long-time member of USG.  She has served two terms on the Board of Trustees, the second as co-chair of the Anti Racism Task Force.  With a longtime interest in the quality and beauty of Sunday services, she worked many years as a worship associate and as chair of the Worship Arts committee.  Debbie is a retired labor and delivery nurse.  This will be her fifth summer sermon at USG.
