We encourage you to attend at least 3 of the 4 class offerings before participating in a New Member Ceremony. The series will restart in late August of 2026, it is on hiatus until then. What Is Offered In Our Newcomer Series  Theology 101 with Rev. Hannah Learn more about the values of Unitarian Universalism and what it means to be a member at USG.  USG History with the Archives Committee Get a tour of the archives and answers to all your USG history questions!  Building Tour with Paula Behrens Explore our beautiful campus. Discover spaces you’ve never stumbled upon before!  Circle Worship with Zoë Johnston Take part in a unique outdoor (or in Sullivan in inclement weather) service led by USG’s Director of Spiritual Development. Let’s define newcomer. Are you curious about the commitment of membership at USG? Did you join recently and feel you need a “tune up” or have remaining gaps in your understanding of membership? Do you desire a better grasp of Unitarian Universalist theology? Are you curious about the history of the congregation and its culture? Do you want to understand what constitutes the community and how to weave in? We invite all to consider themselves a newcomer and begin this series with us!  Questions?
