A place for every occasion

  • Weddings and receptions. Exchange vows in our stained-glass sanctuary or outdoors in the Grove, under a canopy of trees, then celebrate with dinner and dancing in one of our halls.
  • Memorials and life celebrations. A peaceful, dignified setting for services and gatherings.
  • Concerts and recitals. Two baby grand pianos, a pipe organ, and sound systems make our spaces a natural fit for music.
  • Meetings, retreats, and conferences. Flexible rooms with tables, from small committees to groups of 100.
  • Classes, rehearsals, and community events. Room to move, make music, and gather.

Our spaces

Sanctuary

Our main-floor sanctuary seats more than 300, with beautiful stained-glass windows and 1928 brick, marble, and limestone architecture. It features a raised dais with a podium, a Samick baby grand piano, and a sound system with up to four microphones. A 2,078-pipe Möller organ is available by special advance arrangement.

The Grove

A lovely outdoor setting on our five acres, where ceremonies and gatherings take place under a canopy of trees.

Edna Jones Assembly Room and Daskam Room

An upper-floor, multi-purpose hall with a capacity of 100. It has hardwood floors, an Ivers & Pond 6-foot baby grand piano, a sound system with up to four microphones, and a small stage with lighting. Live music, DJs, and dancing are welcome, and refreshments may be served.

Dining Room and Committee Room

A ground-floor room with hardwood floors and a capacity of 40, adjoining the kitchen. Refreshments may be served, making it a natural choice for receptions and meetings.

Sullivan Chapel

A comfortable, carpeted room with conference tables and a capacity of 50. It can be used as one room or divided in two with a partition, well suited to meetings, retreats, and workshops.

Kitchen

A large kitchen with a stove and refrigerator, supporting everything from fine dining to casual buffets. Renters provide their own paper goods, dishware, and silverware.

Getting here and getting in

Parking. We have a large parking lot behind the building, with additional accessible parking in the courtyard, only steps from our ground-floor entrances.

Accessibility. An elevator connects all levels, the ground floor (Sanctuary, Kitchen, and Dining and Committee Room), the Sullivan Wing, and the upper floor (Edna Jones Assembly and Daskam Rooms), so every space is reachable.

Public transit. We are about two blocks from Upsal Station on SEPTA’s Chestnut Hill West Regional Rail line.
