“A gossip is one who talks to you about others, a bore is one who talks to you about himself, and a brilliant conversationalist is one who talks to you about yourself.” Lisa Kirk

My time as an ministerial intern has come to an end, but my time at USG isn’t ending. Over the past 2 years USG has loved me, nurtured me, guided me, taught me and formed me into what you see today. Not sure if that’s good or bad, but this is my last time speaking as an intern at USG and I want to reflect on my experience and publicly say thank you for all of the ways you’ve helped form me for ministry! Join us June 12th, 10:30am.

Mrs. Latifah Griffin-Rogers is a recent graduate of Lancaster Theological Seminary with a Master’s Degree in Divinity, adding to her Master’s Degree from Neumann University in Pastoral Care and Counseling. She has been our intern for the 2020-22 church years and will be our Interim Director of Spiritual Development in the 2022-23 church year. USG is her second direct field learning experience. Her first internship was at Nemour’s Dupont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, DE. She also works at Thomas Jefferson University in the Student Counseling Center.
