Christmas Eve at 4pm and 6pm

You can CLICK HERE to access the lyrics to carols for our outdoor 6pm Christmas Caroling. Due to Covid challenges we are not gathering inside in the Sanctuary for our usual Christmas Eve services. But that doesn’t mean we cannot gather outside (in the Grove and parking lot) where we can be safer and lift each other’s spirits. Mary birthed miracles. So can we.

4pm Christmas Eve Service on Zoom only:
Our Christmas Eve Service at 4PM will be a virtual and intergenerational service shared over Zoom. Join us for an interactive and heartwarming telling of the Nativity story as well as live music from members of the USG Choir, musical guest Judith Saxton on trumpet, and our fabulous music coordinator Barbara Browne on piano and organ.

Donations for the Mitten Tree. You can also bring your donations of small outerwear articles—mittens, gloves, hats, scarves— for the Mitten Tree before or after the 6PM outdoors caroling event in the Grove and back parking lot.

6pm Christmas Carols and Candlelight in the Grove, in person only.
O Come, All Ye Faithful, joyful and triumphant, O come ye, O come ye to the USG Grove. Come and sing carols of cheer with fellow people of good will. No matter the landscape surrounding us, we can celebrate the birth of baby Jesus, good will, and love. Glory to God, the cosmos, and the Spirit of Life. Glory to the resilient spirit of making it through Covid with Christmas Spirit.

There will be no cookie reception between the services this year. We hope to be able to return to this beloved tradition next year.
