Resting in Darkness, Rev Kent Matthies

Our Sunday service begins at 10:30am and we offer multi-platform worship. You can CLICK HERE to access the Sunday service on Zoom; we will begin admitting people at 10:20am. Or you can join us indoors in the Sanctuary with overflow space in the Edna Jones Assembly Room. PLEASE READ THE PROTOCOLS WE WILL BE FOLLOWING.

During these longest nights let us pause and feel the nurturing power of darkness.  Too often we impulsively stretch for the light, forgetting that darkness can recharge our batteries and provide a respite for our souls.  Working through discomfort with night can bring us to a more peaceful and centered place within ourselves.  Night provides vistas to the galaxy of miracles.  Why rush to day?
