USG belongs to several coalitions and national organizations that extend our justice work beyond our own walls.

Power

USG has been a member since 2018 of this interfaith organization of 50+ congregations across Southeastern and Central Pennsylvania, organizing around Climate Justice, Economic Dignity, Education, Moral Health Care, and Live Free (criminal justice reform). UUJusticePA

Formerly UUPLAN, this is the UU vehicle for advocacy and lobbying in Harrisburg, active since 2007 with members across most of Pennsylvania’s 40 UU congregations, covering LGBTQIE+, Environmental, Criminal Justice, Economic, Good Government, Gun Violence Prevention, and Reproductive Justice.

UU Justice Organizations

USG also connects members to national UU justice work: Side with Love (public advocacy against oppression), UU the Vote (democracy and voting rights organizing), the UU Service Committee (UUSC, international human rights), and the UU United Nations Office (UU-UNO, international cooperation and peace).
