Food Donations

Please bring NONPERISHABLE food donations to USG for delivery to St. Vincent’s Food Pantry.

  • select smaller size containers, rather than giant-size
  • check expiration dates
  • put your donations in a clean, sturdy bag or box
  • and then bring them to USG on any Sunday morning (or on a weekday between 10:00am and 2:00pm; park in the courtyard and buzz the office) and leave them on a designated food cart in the kitchen. Collected items will be taken to St. Vincent’s Food Pantry on second Tuesdays for distribution.

Starting the first week of September, we will be hosting a family here at USG as they seek more permanent housing with support from Family Promise of Philadelphia. They’ll be with us for one month. Let’s help them feel warmly wanted and welcomed in this big stone building!

Joyful items to add to your next Target/Aldi/Dollar Store run:

🐶Toys, clothes (4T), books related to Paw Patrol

💥 Toys, clothes (5T), books related to Marvel

🌈 Toys, clothes (Girls 7/8), books related to rainbows and princesses

We are also hoping to get the family set up with some cozy blankets, a laundry basket, and a mini fridge. If any of these things are within your budget and your time, please drop them off at the office at USG and our USG FPP Hospitality Team will take care of it.

Join USG’s team with Rebuilding Philly on October 11, SIGN UP HERE by September 8! USG has participated in their block builds for many years and we have an experienced leader in George Buckman.
