 Your Monthly Call to Action for Justice USG Social Justice Alert: April Actions and Events  BBCBB Conference APRIL 18 9-4:30 PM AT USG Attend the Building Beloved Community Beyond the Binary conference. Help USG continue building a trans positive and non-binary community. Join members, allies and friends for this learning event. You can attend the keynote address, then select one or more live streaming workshops or go to spaces for connections. Stay for a few hours or the whole day. Attend a Prayer Vigil with New Sanctuary Movement Wednesdays 12-1 PM Outside Philly ICE Office A weekly interfaith vigil. New Sanctuary Movement is holding a “40 weeks interfaith prayer vigil” for immigrant justice. Join them for week 20 and all the weeks that follow. Learn more here. End Gun Violence Advocacy Day in Harrisburg June 2- Buses leaving from Philadelphia Join ceasefirepa.org and its partners for End Gun Violence Advocacy Day in Harrisburg. Buses will leave from Montgomery, Philadelphia and Delaware counties. Sign up at ceasefirepa.org. Join the Philly Visibility Brigade Lead by two USG members who post messages approximately once a week to motorist on the City Avenue pedestrian bridge. Have fun while supporting a cause or political protest as you wave to people who honk as they drive by. Learn more here. Information on possible actions will be available each month. Meetings will take place in Sullivan. Seeds for Liberation: A Film at the Fallsers Club in East Falls April 30 from 7-9:30 PM Panel discussion to follow with Dr. Noura Erakat, Moath Mamzeh, Matthew Solomon (Director), and Donna Hadjikhani (Executive Producer).
