 Your Monthly Call to Action for JusticeUSG Social Justice Alert: February ICE Out of Target! Local Direct Action  Last week, No Ice Philly organized a direct action at Target in South Philadelphia. This action was part of a coordinated effort across the country to hold corporations accountable for collaborating with ICE. 40 people locked arms and refused to leave the store until they were arrested, while cheered on by over 100 more supporters outside. USG’s Director of Spiritual Development, Zoë Johnston, participated in the logistics of this event- showing us that involvement takes many forms. Thank you, Zoë! Actions and Events  Attend a Prayer Vigil with New Sanctuary Movement Wednesdays 12-1 PM Outside Philly ICE Office A weekly interfaith vigil. New Sanctuary Movement is holding a “40 weeks interfaith prayer vigil” for immigrant justice. Join them for week 13 and all the weeks that follow. Learn more here.
