As we approach the fall and the many changes that will come, let’s think about what we may need to let go of in order to grow personally and spiritually. Margaret will offer some reflections about how hard and yet rewarding it can be to face what we thought we knew about ourselves and then find out that we were wrong.
Margaret Thompson became a member of USG since 2018 after several decades as a member of the Religious Society of Friends. She serves as a worship associate, and is sometimes behind the sanctuary camera during worship, on the Welcome team, as coordinator of the Handcrafters group and one of the Black Lives Matters vigil coordinators. She has lived in Mt. Airy since the early 1990’s.
