Job Posting: Custodian

Job description: The Unitarian Society of Germantown is seeking a part-time building custodian to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and repairs necessary for our historic and beautiful building and grounds. 

Responsibilities include: Building maintenance, small repair, and tidying; coordinating larger repair projects with contractors; setting up, staffing, and cleaning up for Sunday services and special events; and maintaining the grounds as seasonally appropriate. This person will have an eye towards keeping the interior and exterior of the building aesthetically-pleasing and free of clutter. Please see attached job description for in-depth task list.

Pay: This position is hourly at $22/hour, estimated at 15-25 hours per week, and offers a flexible schedule, with Tuesday afternoons and Sunday mornings required. Ability to flexibly accommodate evening/weekend events and emergent building needs required.

Benefits: Health insurance is available, along with 8 days of paid vacation per year.
