Medical Emergency Resources Training

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

USG has resources that can be used by any member (you) to treat a variety of medical emergencies. An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and several medications and devices are wall-mounted in the foyer where nametags are located.
Gerry Whelan, a retired emergency physician, will demonstrate and explain the resources for treating cardiac arrest, extreme allergic reactions, asthma attacks, opiate overdoses, hypoglycemia and severe bleeding. You may need to know the basics one day, and you may want the person next to you to know them! All are invited!
