I was a Catholic boy wondering why God showed up once a week and angels daily In the Old Testament. The Blessed Mother has shown up here and there recently. I want to see a miracle, too!

I was a Marine brat, born in Baltimore. We jumped around for 6 years, then settled in Philly. I had twelve years of Catholic school, and one year of Drexel University. They stopped giving out diplomas for smoking weed in ’72. Then I aspired to be a sexton at USG. I’ll share about the long way I took to get here.

Mike Rogers has been USG’s beloved sexton since spring of 2012. He came on board one week before the Annual Auction, which he definitely remembers.
