Adult Spiritual Development
Opportunities at USG for Adults
If you have questions about ASD courses and programs, please contact Director of Spiritual Development, Zoë Johnston at dsd@usguu.org.
The Adult Spiritual Development (ASD) Committee of USG is committed to offering a variety of programs that deepen and broaden the range of spiritual practices in our congregation. ASD seeks to promote offerings that engage the heart and stimulate the intellect and create opportunities for USG members to share their talents and wisdom, as we strengthen the bonds of our Unitarian Universalist community. We are now offering some things in person, outdoors and indoors, and we are still offering many things on zoom.
This page has discussion-based spiritual development, for practice-based spiritual development – meditation & yoga – visit the Center for Mindfulness at USG page.

NEW: The Four Agreements Book Group
Join us for a book group on The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. Based on ancient Toltec wisdom, the four agreements offer a powerful code of conduct that can rapidly transform our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love. Over the course of 7 weeks, we’ll gather for discussion, reflection, and connection over this modern classic. Books are available for purchase on a sliding scale.
Tuesday evenings from February 3 through March 17 from 7-8:30 PM. More information and sign up here.

Movie Night: Whale Rider
Join us as we gather in community to watch Whale Rider. This moving film explores themes of leadership, spirituality, and the power of women’s voices. After the screening, we’ll discuss how the story
connects to feminist theology themes and our own spiritual journeys. Attendees are warmly encouraged to bring food to share and enjoy together. Come for an evening of film, fellowship, and meaningful conversation. Tiffany Hill will facilitate.
Check out the plan for the rest of the year HERE.
