7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Lughnasadh [LU nah sah], the third great celebration of the Celtic year, will be held on SUNDAY, JULY 29 at 7 pm in The Grove (weather permitting; otherwise, we’ll be in the dining room). Traditionally the beginning of the harvest season, Lughnasadh was considered more of a men’s festival as it was based on a male folk hero, Lugh. Come hear about the original Tara, “Teltown marriages”, and Mary Mother’s “failing”! As always, enjoy chats and snacks afterwards . . . A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
