The USG Minister Search Committee wants to hear from you!

The recommended UUA minister search process includes congregation meetings to get insights beyond the survey as we refine our understanding of the congregation’s perspectives. These insights will help us prepare our document submission for a new minister. The UUA suggests two types of meetings:

Cottage meetings are group conversations for people to hear and understand the perspectives of others.

Focus groups are for specific interest groups within the congregation. Focus groups will start the same as cottage meetings with additional discussion to elicit the unique perspective of the particular group.

USG congregants are encouraged to attend one meeting (and only one.) If you are not invited to a focus group, or are unavailable at the time listed, please attend one cottage meeting.

Here is the planned schedule of Cottage meetings. We ask that you RSVP (link below) for the in-person meetings in the Assembly Room. However, you are welcome to attend, even if you forget to RSVP.

We have planned a special group for CHILDREN AND YOUTH on 11/5 during the service, in place of CSD programming. Emily Joy will lead the group and we invite kids of all ages to join us.
