Circle Worship with Zoë Johnston

12:15 pm - 1:15 pm

Join Director of Spiritual Development Zoë Johnston to take part in a unique service led by USG’s Director of Spiritual Development. It is one of the offerings in our Newcomers Series.

Circle Worship is a chance to explore the different ways that Unitarian Universalists create sacred space. Our Circle Worships will take place outside (weather permitting) at the labyrinth and will be centered around ritual and personal sharing. This one will be indoors.

Finish your lunch before heading to Sullivan 3. To avoid disruptions once the circle is closed, latecomers will not be admitted.

This experience differs from our typical Sunday morning service because the act of being in a circle together, rather than in pews, reminds us of our individual spiritual authority and connects us to the traditions of Unitarian Universalist youth going back to the 1960s merger.

Visit the Path to Membership page to find additional dates and descriptions and dates of the other offerings (look on the right side or bottom of the page depending on your device for dates.) You don’t need to be planning to join to engage the offerings in the Newcomers Series. All are welcome.
