The next Difficult Conversation will be on the topic of patriotism. What is it, what is it not? Is it a requirement, is it a choice? Can expressions of patriotism be mandated? Is kneeling during the anthem disrespectful or an alternate expression of real patriotism? How does it resonate or not with our UU principles? Lots to discuss, lots to listen to. Come, speak, listen…learn why people have the positions they do, look more closely at your position. We have more than a quorum but there is still room for a few more participants.
