The vigil began immediately after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. With the new US administration, the situation has rapidly deteriorated and Ukrainian people are in greater danger than ever.

 

We stand to demonstrate the support of ordinary Americans for Ukraine and our opposition to the attacks on democracy, both in Ukraine and in the US.

 

All are welcome to join this peaceful, family-friendly event. We have signs you can use or bring your own. Parking is available behind the church, and can be accessed from Johnson St, between Greene St and Wayne Ave (GPS address: 359 W. Johnson St). More details in the Facebook event link.
