Earlier this year, the Small Group Ministry theme was Resilience.  Reflecting on this theme after an accident helped Andrea Barsevick understand the power of reaching out to others in a time of crisis.

Andrea is the current president of USG’s Board of Trustees. She has been a member of the Unitarian Society of Germantown since 1986; she and her husband Rudy Sprinkle raised their two children in this church. She is a retired nurse who most recently served on the faculty Thomas Jefferson University, making contributions in cancer research and education. She enjoys hiking, swimming, bicycling, and backpacking.
