Music as Healing Play, Mark Daugherty, the USG Vocal Ensemble & the USG Virtual Choir

For the past several weeks, the pandemic restrictions on group singing (one of the most hazardous of activities during the pandemic) have relaxed quite a bit. With that welcome relaxation, several members of the choir were able to get together to sing. It has been an emotional time to meet and make music with tears flowing and folks laughing together as we prepared some truly stunning music. For many of us, music is something that speaks to our souls and enriches our hearts. We share that gift with you and hope that it will restore your spirit and enrich you as it has us. The musical program will include Three Nocturnes by the young American composer Daniel Elder. But there will also be appearances by the USG Virtual Choir.
