Ryan Hurd, MA is a lifelong lucid dreamer and explorer of consciousness. He is co-editor of Lucid dreaming: New perspectives on consciousness in sleep (2014), and author of Sleep paralysis: Hypnagogic visions and visitors of the night (2011). His work has been featured on NPR, CNN, Psychology Today, Mashable, and The Daily Beast. Ryan is a member of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and abides by their ethical guidelines.
