12:15 pm - 1:30 pm
This interactive workshop introduces us to the foundations of womanism and its relationship to feminism. We’ll explore how Black women have shaped spiritual and liberation traditions. We will learn how womanism expands feminist frameworks by centering race, community, spirituality, and collective survival. Through discussion and reflection, we will explore how faith traditions can become spaces of resistance, healing, and cultural affirmation. Led by Zahra M Amber Davis-Diallo, Founder of Feminist Jawn | Well Womanist Therapy Practice.
