Ending Racism Monthly Meeting

1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The Ending Racism Committee welcomes members and friends who want to work with us on issues such as personal biases, institutional and systemic inequality, mass incarceration, and white privilege. We attempt to expand our knowledge and awareness through readings, movies and discussions. We also collaborate with other social justice organizations, within and outside of USG, to work for better laws and policies affecting people of color.

From 12-1pm we Engage the BLUUbox a resource from Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism. Our committee meeting follows from 1-2pm.

Though we work on serious issues, the ERC is a warm and welcoming group and we have a lot of fun together. We invite you to come to one of our upcoming meetings and see if you’d like to get involved. If attending a Sunday morning meeting isn’t feasible, there are still lots of ways to participate. For more information, contact committee chairs Barbara Dowdall and Tonika Berkley at endingracism@usguu.org
