Several USG members at Cathedral Village are involved in organizing this event, presented by Jon Kurinsky and Joe O’Brian, longtime activists and Mt. Airy residents working with NW Philly NO-ICE and Juntos.  In their words:  “Across the country–from Los Angeles to Chicago to Minneapolis–neighbors have shown what it looks like to care for and defend one another. This Know Your Rights and Bystander Training is about building that same coordination and courage in Philadelphia.  It will teach the legal rights we and our immigrant neighbors can use to stand up against the lawlessness and violence of ICE.”
