Join this Social Justice action to persuade the Chelten Ave. McDonald’s owner, Derek Giacomantonio, to raise the wage of employees to $15 an hour. Currently the minimum wage there is $7.25 an hour.

Senator Haywood says, “In 1974 when I was a teenager working at McDonald’s, the minimum wage was $2 an hour. In 2019, that is almost $11 per hour. Are the teenagers of 1974 worth more than the McDonald’s workers of 2019. No. So why not pay them fairly?”
