Moral Monday National Day of Action

8:30 am - 3:30 pm

Responding to the call of North Carolina Moral Mondays’ Organizer, Rev. William J. Barber II, many people across the country will be taking action to demand a Moral Revolution for a Reset of Our Nation’s Values. At this point, the call for a Moral Revolution will be presented in 35 state capitals on Moral Monday, September 12. Many from around the Commonwealth will be traveling to Harrisburg to be part of the call on that day.
The Moral Revolution encompasses demands for a higher minimum wage, access to affordable housing, fully funded education, an end to racist incarceration policies and an end to the expansion of the fossil fuel industry.
Many from USG intend to carpool to Harrisburg on September 12, leaving at 8:30am from Glenside, PA. Others will be traveling on buses leaving from the Friends Center at 4th and Arch at 8:30am.  Contact Linda Bernstein, momberner506@gmail.com, for more details and to sign up.
