We left Harrisburg in June with a lot of energy – and a full “to do” list!  Here are some highlights:

• Philadelphia and Metro Education Team members were on a panel this summer at a Faith in Action Training in Delaware County to share what we’ve learned about our campaign for fair funding and how we executed a successful large action.
• Members of the Statewide Education Team will be meeting with members of Governor Wolf’s cabinet in early September to talk about legislative strategy.
• Philadelphia and other Education Teams around the state are keeping the pressure up with calls, letters, and emails to demand that Representative Curt Sonney, chair of the House Education Committee, fulfills his promise to schedule a hearing this fall.
