Social Justice Coffee Hour

9:45 am - 10:25 am

SEPTEMBER’s SJ COFFEE HOUR:

Topic: Economic Justice & Minimum Wage

While surrounding states have significantly raised the minimum wage, PA has stayed for 9 years at $7.25/hour. Tim Styer, a former staff member of the Philadelphia Unemployment Project and member of the UUPLAN Economic Justice Team, will speak on the campaign to raise the minimum wage in Pennsylvania.  Come for an update on this important measure to reduce poverty in PA.

Held every month in a corner of the Dining Room on the third Sunday from 9:45 to 10:25am, the SJ Coffee Hour will provide a chance to share your social justice passions and learn from others.
