The Social Justice Coordinating Committee presents Encounter Point. Encounter Point is an award-winning documentary (85 minutes) that features members of the joint Israeli-Palestinian organization, The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF- theparentscircle.com). PCFF is an organization of over 600 families who have lost close family members and are working together toward reconciliation and a sustainable peace between Israelis and Palestinians.  The film follows several members of the group over a period of a year and highlights their work on grassroots solutions to the conflict. The film was created by the nonprofit Just Vision, produced by Ronit Avni, and co-directed by Ronit Avni and Julia Bacha. A brief discussion will follow the film.
