We need to continue fighting for democracy and for justice. Soul Force is a spiritual discipline that allows us to meet white supremacy, violence, and injustice with a powerful contrary force. We believe that the creation of Democracy Pods (affinity groups) gives us the maximum flexibility to respond.

In this training, we will:

1. Prepare to form Democracy Pods (affinity groups)–small, non-hierarchical teams who prepare for and take direct action together. 

2. Discuss the history, principles, and tactics of NVDA looking at the Southern Freedom Movement’s use of this tactic against white supremacist terror.

3. Practice skills of NVDA

This will be the third time we are offering the introductory training and plan to offer 2.0 next. As people of faith and moral conscience, we must meet this moment with courage and conviction.
