Scripture tells the story: Jesus was killed. He came to life again. But maybe he didn’t roll the stone away from the mouth of the tomb by himself. Maybe when Jesus arose from the dead and walked out of the tomb, he did so with the help of others. Such assistance wouldn’t change the magnitude of the event. His life and love changed his followers for centuries to come. What if, by participating in resurrection, we could become more loving and empowered for justice making?
